redmine git 500 internal server error Gainesboro, Tennessee

When I looked at the AJAX requests, it said that the request was also getting Error 500. I get an internal server error. RE: Internal Server Error when trying to brows git repository - Added by Felix Schäfer over 6 years ago Practically any plugin, as they can monkey-patch whatever they want :-) Ok, RE: 500 Internal Server Error when browsing a repository - Added by Anthony C over 5 years ago I ran the command again and saved the output to a file.

Do you know of anything else that could be causing the 500 error? To fix 'Allow modification of the gitolite-admin repository from a different location' switch to v0.8. You may want to first integrate the remote changes [GitWorker]hint: (e.g., 'git pull ...') before pushing again. [GitWorker]hint: See the 'Note about fast-forwards' in 'git push --help' for details. I was looking at /var/log/messages for another reason and noticed that Ruby had been invoking oom-killer. RE: 500 Internal Server Error when browsing a repository - Added by Anthony C over 5 years ago Forgot to mention, it does display all of the log entries through 199 RE: Internal Server Error when trying to brows git repository - Added by Phil Hauber over 6 years ago Thanks for the ultrafast reply! 1. We recommend upgrading to the latest Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox. any ideas?

Checking git log -1 gave 'bad object' and git cat-file returned fatal instead of verifying they are commits. The strangest part is that another repository on another server works perfectly. Could you post the 30-odd last commits, or even better the 30 last lines pertaining to that project of the changesets table? There are many very similar problems in the forums and bugtickets but none of them solved it for me.

But it also generates the same error.Don't known where is the problem with it. Loading... any other options? Or other hints?

It still is reporting errors about trying to convert nil into an array implicitly. You could add some logger.info lines also.

I'm not too familiar with ruby development, but looking at some of the codebase, I notice {REDMINE_ROOT}/app/model/repositories.rb contains a function definition of: def default_branch nil end Could this have anything to Is there anything in particular that I should be looking for? Since my shared host doesn't support git, I obtained a pre compiled version from the web (don't use torrent sites for this PLEASE)I was then able to use the git commands clee231 commented Jul 24, 2015 Yes, everything seem to be normal to my eyes in the config tests.

Can someone please point me into the right direction. Maybe you could try to install the libxml-ruby gem to make it faster ? Like I said, I am not too familiar with Ruby development... If I create a project on the git, the redmine can find the file and change history of it.

The biggest difference is that the non-working server is on a different subnet and required a firewall opening for port 443. That one did it! If I thought twice about this in the beginning this would have saved me a lot of trouble. I think the bug is around here : https://github.com/jbox-web/redmine_git_hosting/blob/devel/lib/redmine/scm/adapters/xitolite_adapter.rb#L96.
