Shame on you Intuit! How to fix it Intuit recommends 3 solutions for this problem. KB after KB... i tried all the fixes and none of them worked, but here's the deal…i CAN email a statement if i use the simple (ugly) Quickbooks template with no customizations.

In most cases, older revisions are more likely to have compatibility problems. Hope that helps! Also, in my system, I have both the 2009 and 2010 versions installed. We never share your info.

So, is this repair tool not available to the public? There are a million interfering details that are hard to pin down. I thought maybe the Quickbooks tool removed it? A lot of the fixes that are being done for these versions involve configuring the driver and the printer ports that it is using.

I have to admit, this is a feature in QuickBooks that I’ve never really looked at. Apparently QB's does not like Adobe's newest reader - Acrobat DC and one technician told me to install an older version of Acrobat, which I did but Adobe doesn't like me I am now getting a Runtime error with this new file. Close out of the Print server properties window. 10.

The first solution may solve your problem (running the PDF tool), or you may need to try several to resolve the issue. Searched the web for 2 days. My past experience with Vista on this system (also an HP system) showed me that if I had system drivers that were not the latest 64 bit versions, odd things happened. Selected it and followed the instructions above and QB 2012 now generates and attaches PDFs again.

Then your computer should be able to install them. It asks for a quickbase user id. Let me know if any of that helps.  Wednesday, November 11, 2009 6:25 PM Reply | Quote 7 Sign in to vote Hi Sculley,Thanks for the post.Since Quickbooks was working fine in I had windows 7, quickbooks 2011.

If you still have problems, try the fixes outlined below. I am convinced this is my problem. Aaron says: February 5, 2010 at 3:32 pm Charlie, thanks for taking all these points and trying to disseminate them all. Also, make sure you're running the latest patch level for QuickBooks.

I'm getting around it by opening it in excel and exporting/creating a PDF/XPS. If for some reason the installer fails, which might happen for some people, you can use the add a printer wizard to add a printer from the control panel. I'd reinstall it and then follow the steps in my blog post to correct any printing issues. There are a bunch of VERY technical steps to go through that are outlined at the Intuit support site for PDF problems.

Tried the steps in the previous article to install the updated x64 quickbooks pdf driver but that didnt work. Charlie says: January 26, 2010 at 8:05 pm Zach, we'll all cross our fingers for you. Melissa Keuning says: January 7, 2010 at 11:53 am Sandy (& Charlie), I am back to the same "print driver host for 32 bit applications has stopped" error now also. Yes No Do you still have a question?

QuickBooks has identified four major causes of not being able to print or email PDF files: The QuickBooks PDF Converter settings are not compatible with some settings on some 64-bit versions After I unzipped the folder I separated out the prnms001.inf and put it all by itself on the desktop. PDF converter worked fine on old computer with Win XP SP3 and same QB program. Then restart QuickBooks and try the bank reconcile.

God Bless ~ Kevin simon · Reply November 11, 2015 at 2:15 PM Hi Joseph Just had the same problem with QuickBooks 2012 pro QuickBooks customer service told me I would I had a hard time pinning this one down myself – the program would work fine, then I’d come back and find that it wasn’t working. Ann-Marie · Reply January 22, 2016 at 12:10 PM Thank you so much!!! Other support articles say to end other instances.

I had almost given up hope and was a day away from reluctantly buying QB 2015. Good luck, and please do reply to me on this site so I know if my reply helped you at all. Starting with QuickBooks 2011, Intuit switched over to a new approach where the program would send the data to the Microsoft XPS Document Writer, which in turn would send the data I just cannot fathom why (a) these are all here and not cleaned up by Intuit in their install/remove routines; and (b) why I would need more than one?

Barry K says: January 16, 2010 at 6:06 am I Remember a time before I invested in this new expensive 64 bit, Windows 7 system when I could just invoice my If I could just make the patches stick...... This will mostly be of interest to those of you who like the technical details, but it may help if you are trying to work out some technical issues with QuickBooks. Save the .xps file to your computer's desktop.

Reinstall XPS Printer: From the Windows Start menu, choose Devices and Printers. http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/Articles/SLN40733 Friday, May 04, 2012 10:09 AM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Excellent, your direction was clear and direct. Copy and paste this folder to C Drive\Windows\System32. 3. Charlie says: January 26, 2010 at 8:15 pm Geoff: I can't answer why Intuit does anything the way they do.

QuickBooks 2013 introduced a bit of confusion for me at first – we could see another driver, the “ABS PDF Driver”. There were a few extra steps to go through for the non pro version of W10. Printing is A-OK now with the old DLL and the Amyuni. Bill says: January 7, 2010 at 11:25 am I followed these steps and received the C++ runtime error.

Aaron says: February 18, 2010 at 4:25 pm Just updated to R11, and it fixed everything, I can reconcile, send emails, print to PDF, the whole kaboodle. I am having the issue of the Pdf printingon the Lenovo but not the Acer! You might check your junk mail folder as the email message might get stuck in there… Zach says: January 25, 2010 at 11:54 am I followed all the instructions here without
