So we welcome all here at ChicagoReefs to share this wonderful hobby. Should I replace the probes that seem to be working correctly? Thanks in advance! They still don't really do anything to clarify non-obvious ways that the timers work, but setting them up and assigning them is much nicer.

I did not however put it in the 7.0 and 10.0 fluids. Sometimes probes can be tested but the manufacturer would be the ones with the technical info.

On mine Temp Error means the head or PC4 does not see the probe, had this happen on both my RKL & RKE and was bad probes. Runs best on HiVelocity Hosting. worst 90 bucks i ever spent. Removed it for a couple of days and it began reading again.

What is weird is the temperature and pH probe were connected to the SL1 module. Man I am own my forth one and now it's dead again. Its seems like the solution to most problems with the new DA equipment it "reset it" or "unplug it" or "reflash the firmware". As for the wire, if your iTemp probe wire is wrapped down by the PC4 around (entangled) with power chords for things like ballast plugs, it is possible that you could not sure if its a firmware thing or not, but its worth a try "We love the ocean, and the ocean is filled with sex, poop, and awesomesauce.
