I'm just amazed though that I can print just fine after telling my error messages to go away that say I can't print. setup+options doesnt help.I have no doubt its the "piracy" check.. Close the printer and wait 10 to 15 seconds. Was this answer helpful? This is driving me CRAZY!!! It appears to work. To remove and inspect the cartridge, follow these steps:NOTE: HP cannot guarantee the quality of remanufactured or refilled cartridges.Make sure the printer is on.

I feel like I'm wasting money trying to get this unit to work. OK, the bottom of the carts are inky now that I've refilled them and have been taking them in and out fooling around. The printer will need to be replaced as this is not a serviceable part.
