remstar pro error 23 Hydaburg, Alaska

No where does it tell me just exactly what the error was, or was caused by, but at this point it doesn't matter anymore. If this is the case, I'll probably find out in September, when I have to go back.)With the 3 C-flex units that I've gone through so far, I can definately say In that case, it is best to have a spare. At the time, I just could not find the right deal on one.In comparison, the Remstar Auto is very small compared to the 418P.

I had to buy a seperate rolling suitcase for what I like to call the "CPAP CRAP". Its quiet and steady. #56763 July 6, 2003 at 12:40 pm AnonymousMemberLindy Sue,I have had to experiment with Autopaps on my own dime, which has been a substantial amount of money Fortunately I can still start it as mentioned above. If it's cracked just on one end, you might have enough length already there to cut a few millimetres off one end and re-attach it so that the cracked end is

Your cache administrator is webmaster. Most likely, on these older REMstar machines what's happening is that the small rubber tubing inside the machine (see the pictures in that thread) are becoming old and brittle, and they when I was drinking my morning coffee, I heard a noise I just assumed was the fridge, but it was the cpap with e-23 again and now that is all it

I first tried cleaning the card by rubbing the gold contact area lightly with a pen eraser, a trick I have used before when dealing with electrical contacts, i.e. As of now my machine errors out all the time. Thanks for the suggestion guys. You have two autopaps!

I wouldn't use any kind of cleaner, not even water. I've decided to just buy another machine and then decide whether or not to get the Remstar fixed. it "thinks") should be on one, and at the price of a PAP machine, its cheap insurance. It might be ok to gamble on not using one on the road (although someone com... > > Anyone have a list of meanings for error codes displayed > > by a Respironics Remstar Pro CPAP ? > > > > Mine is frequently displaying E-23.

I have lots of flow reductions and the Remstar Auto works like a charm for me as well.I bought a Remstar Auto yesterday and used it last night. I have to travel quite a bit too.

Just a stubborn old farm boy that has realized that it would be nice to live long enough to play with my grandchildren. INFORMATION POSTED ON THE APNEA BOARD WEB SITE AND FORUMS ARE PERSONAL OPINION ONLY AND NOT NECESSARILY A STATEMENT OF FACT. I am trying to guess what might have caused the error. I am getting this code e-23 and don't know how or if it can be reset.

Of course, this does not fix the fundamental error. The solution is either to re-attach the rubber hose, or if it's bad, somehow find a rubber hose of the same internal diameter and replace the bad one. I have to travel quite a bit too. If you mess around, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Electronic superstores and office supply superstores are good places to check as well. #56762 July 6, 2003 at 4:01 am LindyLuMemberTed, I'm jealous! My machine only has 91 hours of use on it and after I started it up the other evening, and received the following error code:Error Code E 25.I have moved and Were it me, I'd try to clean that.

Check out this from a previous thread: Quote:Sleepster offered a good solution and sometimes completely un-plugging and re-starting the machine will help... I even removed the plastic frame the card slides in. I'm hoping that means it was made almost 100,000 units later.I think Error Code 23 means something is wrong with the motherboard. An interesting point (in case someone else has similar trouble): It seems to do this almost on a breath by breath basis. To be honest (having used both machines), they appear to function very much the same to me with the exception

I contacted the supplier and they said the unit had to be replaced, it was not something they could fix. Inserted card and error is gone again. That small pressure drop upon exhale makes a lot of difference and to me makes using a CPAP tolerable (and therefore insures I'm compliant) Keep us posted on what you find hope to get it fixed soon..

So, now I can at least get a good night's sleep, and don't have to worry about missing any work. Regards, -John #56760 July 5, 2003 at 3:34 pm AnonymousMemberJohn,Yeah I can relate.
